After studying fine art photography at the Ringling College of Art and Design, Jana Dillon completed her BFA in Graphic Design at the International Academy of Design and Technology. Her background in the fine arts and design has inspired the evolution of her professional style and craft over the years that blends modern photojournalism with a timeless editorial style.
World Traveled and Classically Trained
Jana Dillon was born in Thailand and raised globally by parents who did humanitarian work in third world countries. Spending her childhood traveling internationally with a camera, she became fascinated with capturing cultures and life through photography.
After studying fine art photography at the Ringling College of Art and Design, she studied and mentored under master photographers. With over 12 years of experience with wedding photography, her work has been recognized by local and international magazines.
"I have been living and shooting in Hawaii for 20 years and love to share my photography with people from around the world! Authenticity is at the heart of what I do. I focus on capturing genuine moments, from laughter and playful movements to heartfelt embraces. My soft, pastel-inspired color palette enhances the elegance of each image, while my relaxed approach to posing ensures that personalities shine through naturally.
When I’m not behind the camera, I love spending time with my family and dogs, creating art, working out and martial arts training. I have a deep love for family, children and animals, and I’m a proud camera nerd who’s always learning and experimenting with new techniques.
