Makena Cove is a dream destination for both photographers and clients, offering a captivating blend of rugged lava rock formations, soft golden sands, and vibrant turquoise waters. The contrast between the dark volcanic rocks and the sparkling ocean creates stunning compositions, particularly during sunrise and sunset.

• Perfect for mini sessions (30 minute).
• Natural lava rock areas.
• Tropical vibes.
• Small cove which should be avoided during high tide.
• Perfect for elopements, surprise proposals, small family sessions, or romantic portraits.
• Blue ocean.
• No shower or restroom facilities.
• Limited off street parking.
• Can get crowded at sunsets, so I would recommend a second backup location in case you get uncomfortable with unexpected crowds.
• Sunrise sessions tends to be more quiet where you will be likely to get the cove to yourself.
